Vote YES on Q to Keep a High Quality of Life in San Marcos

San Marcos is a fantastic place to live, work, raise a family, and retire, offering a high Quality of Life to all. Our city is ranked as one of the safest in the state with one of the highest rated fire departments. But to remain a safe and strong community, we must come together and pass Measure Q.

Voting YES on Q provides:

Crucial support for our first responders, including firefighters, paramedics, and sheriffs, ensuring they have the necessary resources for fast 911 emergency response times

Resources to provide regular maintenance and repair of the city’s 200+ miles of streets, keeping them in good condition to help fix potholes and improve traffic flow

Vital funding for our aging 50-year-old storm drainpipes, currently at risk of failing, creating risks of damaging sinkholes and flooding

Assurance that our 300 acres of parks, trails, and lakes are open and maintained for years to come

Measure Q requires strict accountability:

Measure Q sunsets after 10 years

Measure Q enhances our city’s services, which benefits all residents. Let’s come together to preserve the high Quality of Life we expect: a safe, strong, and well-maintained community for our families and future generations.

Measure Q is something the whole community can get behind.

That’s why the San Marcos Firefighters Association, San Diego County Taxpayers Association, Deputy Sheriffs’ Association of San Diego County, San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, San Marcos Boys & Girls Club, Friends of San Marcos Parks & Recreation, and hundreds of residents and business owners endorse Measure Q.

Our Community Agrees – Vote Yes on Q!
